Navigate Forward Donates Over $40,000 in 2022

Celebrates Client Milestones and Exceeds Charitable Goal for Minnesota Keystone Alliance Members

A shared commitment to supporting others is a cornerstone of Navigate Forward. Every year, we put this mission into action by setting a goal for charitable giving, volunteering our time at worthy causes, and giving our valued clients a voice in directing our philanthropy.

For 2022, we’re proud to announce that we achieved our goal of donating at least 5 percent of our pre-tax earnings to non-profit causes. We ended our year with charitable contributions of over $40,000 to more than 100 organizations around the country.

Minnesota Keystone Members Take Philanthropy Pledge

Our philanthropy pledge supports our membership in the Minnesota Keystone Program. For nearly 50 years, this group has recognized Minnesota businesses that donate at least two percent of their pre-tax earnings to charitable organizations.

Founding members include Carlson Companies, Graco, RBC Wealth Management, Star Tribune, Target and Wells Fargo. Today’s roster includes more than 200 businesses.

Charity of Choice Celebrates the Navigate Forward Community

Our longstanding “charity of choice” initiative simultaneously celebrates the success of our clients and partners, and allows the Navigate Forward community to recommend deserving non-profit organizations for support.

We make a charity of choice donation every time:

  • A senior leader lands a new position, achieves a board role or launches their next chapter.
  • An alumni or career expert speaks at our weekly executive forums.
  • We host virtual or in-person events.

This year our community helped us support programs large and small, from area food shelves and animal shelters, to national cancer and disease-fighting organizations, to environmental and educational causes.

It’s a small way for us to show our gratitude to all clients, alumni and friends who willingly share their experiences, participate in our forums, network with jobseekers and board candidates, and refer other leaders to our services.

Volunteering Our Time and Expertise

Volunteering also keeps us engaged with our community. This year we embraced opportunities to help elevate more BIPOC women to corporate board service. Our team partnered with the Women Corporate Directors—Twin Cities Chapter to share our Board Readiness knowledge and expertise with a talented cohort of women executives.

We’re also active with days of service in our local areas, such as our recent efforts with The ARC Minnesota and Friends of Trees in honor of Martin Luther King Day. The ARC promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities; Friends of Trees supports community-building and the environment.

Continuing Our Promise to Donate 5% of Pre-Tax Earnings in 2023

We anticipate another year of growth and opportunities in 2023, with continued emphasis on putting our profits into practice. For the second year, we’re pledging to donate at least 5 percent of our pre-tax earnings to deserving causes. We will also continue our charity of choice tradition with our clients, alumni and speakers. We encourage those in our network to prioritize giving back, which helps create a stronger community for us all.
